Terms of service

Last updated 4 October 2026

The rules for using Town Square — what we expect of you, what you can expect of us, and what happens if either goes wrong.

The agreement

These terms cover your use of Town Square, the member area of H7 Network. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.

They sit alongside the privacy policy, which explains what we do with your information.

Membership and access

Town Square is for H7 members. While we move members across from the previous system, sign-up is open and access is not being charged for here — that is a temporary state during the migration, not a permanent offer.

When paid membership is enforced, continued access will require an active H7 membership. We will tell you before that happens rather than cutting anyone off without warning.

Your account

Use accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account. An account is for one person — please do not share it.

How to behave here

This is a give-first community and it only works if the room is safe to be in. So:

  • Do not export, scrape, or bulk-collect the member directory, by hand or by tool
  • Do not use details you find here to send unsolicited marketing, and do not add members to mailing lists because you met them
  • Do not post as, or hold yourself out as, someone you are not
  • Do not post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, or deliberately misleading
  • Do not try to get around access controls, or probe the site for weaknesses without asking us first
  • Do not use the community primarily to broadcast at people — connect, serve, then ask

The member directory exists so members can find each other. Treating it as a lead list is the fastest way to lose access.

What you post

What you post is yours. You keep ownership of it.

By posting it here, you give H7 permission to store and display it within Town Square so the community works as intended. That permission ends when the content is removed, except where it forms part of a conversation others have taken part in.

You are responsible for what you post, including having the right to share it.

Introductions, referrals and recognition

Town Square helps members find each other and give first. It does not promise you business. Nothing here is a guarantee of introductions, referrals, revenue, or any particular result.

Recognition — including Connector standing — reflects contribution as recorded in the app, and H7 decides how it is awarded and may change how it is calculated.

Payments and the marketplace

Payments are not switched on. When they are, this section will say more, and these are the principles we will hold to:

  • Card details are handled by a payment provider and are never stored by us
  • Where members buy from or sell to one another, that agreement is between them — H7 is not a party to it and is not responsible for what is delivered
  • Anything we charge for will be stated plainly before you pay

Availability

We are building this actively and shipping changes often. We aim to keep it available and working, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and features may change or be withdrawn.

Suspension and removal

We can remove someone's access if they break these terms or make the community worse for others. Removal is reversible and does not delete what you have posted — you drop out of the directory and cannot sign in to the member area.

You can leave at any time. See the privacy policy for how to have your account removed.

The legal part

Town Square is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we do not give warranties about it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for business you did or did not win through the community.

Nothing here limits any liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes to these terms

These are interim terms while H7 Network finalises its formal version. When they change materially, we will change the date at the top and note it in What's new.
